S Raghotham

S Raghotham comes from a previous life in journalism, in which he says he unexpectedly lasted 28 years, his last stint being as Opinion Editor of Deccan Herald for a little over seven years. He has a first degree in Science and a Master’s in Defence and Security Analysis from Lancaster University, UK, with a special interest in nuclear and space issues. As a reporter and commentator, he has written on strategic affairs, technology, etc. As Editor, he has dabbled in almost everything from garbage to geopolitics.
